Making more spring garlands and collages…
but now off to read How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World to Nicco’s class. Not sure I have mastered the technique of reading a book while holding it to my side (so I can read it while the kids see the pics)…
Photography is not my forte. I am pretty good at Photoshopping images—retouching, montaging, filtering—but the stuff straight off the camera leaves a lot to be desired. And considering how long it can take to Photoshop stuff properly, I’d really like to improve my ’snapping’ skills.

Yesterday, we went to buy some canvases (two for me, two for Niccolo) to play with. Then we decided to go for a walk in the park. We were peacefully ambling along, when Nicco said:
“Let’s race.”
“Fine,” I replied, even though my heart sank at the idea of running or jumping. “What kind of race?”
“Let’s see [...]
After a few weeks of the blues I am starting to feel more hopeful again. Must be spring approaching. Or perhaps I simply resigned myself to what was inevitable and am ready to move on and make the most of the rest.
