To background or not to background?

I finally, finally managed to get a good picture of Caterina and Nicco together. I had to retouch it somewhat, but here it is. I have been wanting to take and collage one for an absolute forever, but the two critters never co-operated.
Anyway, I have it now and am about to work on it…but I am torn. Should I just cut out their faces and collage them on a painted background as I usually do…or should I try and incorporate into the collage some of that lovely green from the original picture?

    I would cut them out…it’s such a wonderful profile :-) The green is lovely, but you can make an even lovelier green. Cut it! :-) And oh btw, they are adorable! :-)
