I have toyed with the idea so many times, and always abandoned it as soon as life started interfering. So why do it now? Why blog? Because it is the perfect place to jot down all the ideas, thoughts and quirks that don’t make it into my professional writing. Because I want to post my little crafts, scrapbooking and altered art projects. And most of all because it is fun.

Will I keep it up? I don’t honestly know, although I should have a little bit more time at my hands now, what with the impending birth of child number two making sure that I’ll have to slow down a little. My hope is that I’ll get so caught up in it that I will continue it no matter what, even when workload goes back to normal and I have a squalling infant to deal with. Hey, maybe it will be an escape route!
